General Store Policies and Shipping Info

Hello and welcome to my little corner of the world!

Here you will find one of a kind art dolls and assemblage boxes.

You can follow me on Instagram @amberleilani_art

to see what I am working on daily.

Here are a few things you might want to look over before purchasing from me.

Each of my pieces is a labor of love. They are hand made and intricate.

They are not toys.

I stand by the quality of my work. Each piece I offer in my shop is of the quality I would expect to ( and do )  display in my home.

I have listed all of the materials I use in each piece as well as the dimensions.

I feel that i have described each piece as accurately as possible and that my pictures represent the colors well.

All sales are final -- I do not accept returns or exchanges.

I package all of my products very carefully.

If you receive a damaged item because of the carrier, please let me know within 3 days of receipt of goods.

We can then work out a possible solution to the problem.

Because all of my work is ONE OF A KIND, if an item is damaged, replacing it exactly as it was will not be possible, but we can discuss repair or my making a new piece that will be very similar.

If you, the customer,  damages an item that you have purchased from me (dropping it, getting it wet, letting the dog eat it, etc)  either online or through a gallery -you, the customer, will be responsible for the cost of the repair.

Cost of repairs will depend on damage done.

Customer will also pay shipping both ways.

I can not repair items for free if the item was damaged by the customer.

All domestic US boxes ship USPS Priority Mail.  It is usually 2-3 business days.

I ship once a week. Usually Monday.

Domestic shipping prices include insurance.

All INTERNATIONAL boxes ship regular First Class Mail.

These items are NOT INSURED and not trackable once they leave the US.

It is my personal experience that international shipping takes about 10 days - 2 weeks.

I have also had items become stuck in customs.

This is beyond my control, and I ask that you not take that out on me.

My items are produced and packaged in a pet friendly, smoke free environment.

Well, occasionally I might sage my space, but I do not smoke.

I often use recycled boxes and other materials to ship my dolls.

Your doll will be lovingly wrapped, but I do believe in trying to re-use materials as much as possible.

Go Green! Yay!

Custom Work

I take a limited number of custom requests during the year.

If you are interested in a custom doll or shadow box, you may email me here on my contact page.

Due to my show and gallery schedule I will let you know if I am able to take the commission or I will add you to my list.

I require half of the amount of the piece down upon agreement of commission. This is non refundable.

The remainder of the amount will be due when the doll is finished and shipping will be due at that time as well.

I have no time frame on custom work and it gets done according to my schedule.

If you have requested an item but not paid for it, it is not being worked on.

Any commissions I accept will be up to my discretion.

I will NOT, under any circumstances, copy work by another artist.

If we have agreed on a design and half way through the work, or when the piece is finished, you want to start making a ton of changes, there will be extra costs for those changes.

My main goal is to keep my customers happy, but I also have to put food on the table and pay my bills.

I cannot continue making changes or doing repairs for free.

Wholesale Inquiries

Wholesale inquiries are always welcome.

I enjoy being a part of group gallery shows and am always interested in new ventures. Please email me at if you have a gallery, store, or event you think my work would fit well with.

A Few Last Things...

If you have any other questions or requests, please feel free to contact me.

And while I realize that several of my policies sound staunch, please understand that I am an artist, making dolls and assemblage pieces with my bare hands.

I don't make a lot of money doing this. In reality, it's a labor of love.

My heart and soul goes in to every single piece I make. Magic goes in to every single piece I make. I am a very nice person, just trying to have the fullest quality of life possible  while doing what she loves. I want to bring joy to the world through my art.

But, I will NOT be bullied or talked down to or taken advantage of. Period.

If you are unhappy with a product you purchased from me, please, let's have a civilized discussion that works both ways.

Again, I am nice. I really am. Apart from my terrible tastes in pies.

But I also have to make a living.

Privacy & Safety

Seriously, it's just me making dolls and trying to sell them to pay my bills. I do not have time to sell your info to anyone.

I paid for a safe and secure site, and I assume that it is.
